Welcome home.

✨ The closer entrepreneurs are, the stronger they become

You know it: the more unfriendly your environment is to your dreams, the more you need to find other believers like you. A common culture, the same level of ambition and shared experiences are the best ingredients for friendship, and that’s the beginning of a community.

But time is a precious thing, and we all live in different places around Europe, so let’s make it simple: 30 founders in a castle for 3 days with The Family team — we promise focus & fun ;)

Let’s have a glass of Champagne?

🏰 Once upon a time, in a marvelous castle…

Every 8 weeks, we onboard up to 20 teams in The Family.
We see this onboarding time as the best way to create, right from day one, the most important condition for working together: an authentic and open communication with founders.

The “Onboarding Weekend” brings together the new startup founders who join The Family — in a castle in the French countryside, to spend quality time and start working together.

🌍 Founders, let’s work!

Coming from UK, Germany, Switzerland, the south of France, the experience for the founders and The Family team is intense and meaningful.

Basically, we meet during office hours in order to:
- understand the drive and focus of the founders,
- define the milestones to achieve and discuss the KPIs to reach,
- get to know each other better, build trust, connect and have fun.

Serious (and stupid) games

🍇 Cook delicious food and let the magic happen

You can rely on The Family to make it memorable.
From the talented French chef creating healthy and tasty menus, to a very unique way of having everyone tell their stories and play games … if we didn’t love our entrepreneurs so much, we’d be managing an all-inclusive hotel, in the style of The Grand Budapest hotel.

But the best can’t be captured in pics, it just happens…
When the Brazilian CMO dancing next to a German founder tries to translate the lyrics of a song — by making moves and faces.
When your quiet neighbor tells you how he managed to gather millions of users, from his parent’s house.
When you catch a conversation about mental health and entrepreneurship.
When the 70-year-old lawyer building a legal AI spends hours talking to the 15-year-old creating a VR helmet.

😜 Be familiar with The Family

When we explain to founders who are not inside The Family that the most precious benefit isn’t about one specific perk, but about using the 30 “warriors on demand” dedicated to finding any solution to any type of problem, well, it’s not obvious.

After the onboarding weekend, since we met and connected, talking about problems and sharing notes about progress will be easier for the founders.
Since they know how much we can do for them, they won’t hesitate in asking us anything on Slack.
Now that they’ve seen “Pay-it-forward” in action, they’ll do it for the others too.

The Onboarding Weekend is just the appetizer.
Second, main and dessert are on The Family menu as well: Fundraising and HR in London, product in Paris, and operations in Berlin.

Help yourself.
